Origin
Inspired by the events of 9/11, two young lawyers were looking for a way to help first responders. After learning that first responders generally had low participation rates in estate planning despite their dangerous jobs, the attorneys decided to create a program that would address this need. After a trial event in 2006, the program is going strong nearly 20 years and over 1500 participants later.
